Fibromyalgia is a complex chronic disorder characterized by widespread body pain that affects individuals physiologically, mentally and socially. Fibromyalgia is associated with pain over multiple tender points on the body including tenderness of the joints, muscles, tendons and other soft tissues. In addition the patient may experience fatigue, sleep disturbances, depression, and anxiety.
